Pebblely in short: is Pebblely worth paying for?

Pebblely is a web app that puts an uploaded product photo into an AI-generated scene, sold as a subscription with a fixed number of images. On 4 November 2026 Pebblely's plans were Lite at $9 a month for 30 images, Basic at $19 for 200 and Pro at $39 for 500, with no free plan or trial and no refunds. Pebblely rebuilt its product on 8 March 2026 and, according to Internet Archive copies of its pricing page, cut Basic from 1,000 to 200 images and Pro from unlimited to 500 around then. Photta is the pick if you also sell clothing, jewelry or eyewear on models, want to try for free first or need an API; Pebblely is cheaper per image on its larger plans.

What is Pebblely?

Pebblely (pebblely.com) says it will "Create AI product photos that help you sell more". Pebblely is a web app, run by Pebblely Pte Ltd, that places an uploaded product photo into an AI-generated scene: you pick one of more than 40 background themes or type a prompt, choose a size preset (1:1, 4:5, 9:16, 16:9 or a Facebook ad) and download the result. On 8 March 2026 Pebblely relaunched as "the new Pebblely", rebuilt from the ground up. It dropped the separate background-removal step ("No more background removal") and added a model that can show people holding a product, custom prompts, bulk generate and bulk download. Pebblely shows templates for skincare, drinks, candles, soap, furniture, jewelry, watches and pet products, and it lists no clothing-on-model or ghost mannequin feature.

What one Pebblely image costs

Pebblely's plans are quoted in images, so the price of one image is the plan price divided by its allowance. The figures below are our arithmetic on Pebblely's published prices, for standard images; a high-resolution image costs twice as much.

Pebblely planOne image, billed monthlyOne image, billed yearly
Lite (30 images)$0.30$0.25
Basic (200 images)about $0.10$0.07
Pro (500 images)$0.08$0.06

For comparison, one Photta product photo costs $0.25 to $0.47, depending on the plan. Pebblely's Basic and Pro plans cost less per image than Photta; Pebblely's Lite plan costs about the same.

What changed at Pebblely in 2026

Internet Archive copies of Pebblely's own pricing page show how the plans moved. The copy of 15 February 2026 listed a Free plan of 40 images a month, Basic at 1,000 images and Pro at "Unlimited images". The copy of 17 March 2026 had no Free plan, Basic at 200 images and Pro at 500 images, at unchanged yearly prices of $179 and $379. A Lite plan at $9 appears between 17 March and 8 May 2026. The "API" menu link disappeared from Pebblely's site in the same weeks, and its Shopify listing now reads "This app is not currently available on the Shopify App Store" (checked 4 November 2026).

Is Pebblely free?

No. Pebblely's pricing page lists three paid plans and says "We do not offer free trials." Pebblely did have a Free plan of 40 images a month until early 2026, according to the Internet Archive copy of 15 February 2026. Pebblely's terms, last modified on 14 February 2024, still mention "a generous free version", so they no longer match the pricing page.

Pebblely API and Shopify app

Pebblely's live site documents no API and no Shopify app. An Internet Archive copy of pebblely.com/docs dated 24 November 2025 still showed API documentation, and today pebblely.com/docs redirects to the home page. Pebblely runs on the web, with no iOS or Android app mentioned on its pages.

Pebblely strengths and limits for product photos

  • Strength: simple scenes for a few products. Pebblely's themes and prompts suit skincare, drinks, candles, soap and jewelry shots.
  • Strength: price per image. On Basic and Pro, a Pebblely image costs between about $0.06 and $0.10.
  • Limit: no way to test for free. Pebblely has no free plan or trial, and no refunds after you subscribe.
  • Limit: monthly expiry. Pebblely's unused images disappear at the end of the month.
  • Limit: a moving plan. Pebblely's allowances were cut in 2026, so check the pricing page on the day you buy.
  • Limit: clothing. Pebblely describes no apparel-on-model, virtual try-on or ghost mannequin feature.

Pebblely has few public reviews. On 4 November 2026 Trustpilot listed 2 reviews, both one star, with a TrustScore of 2.9, and Product Hunt listed 4 reviews averaging 4.5. Those samples are too small to rank Pebblely by; test it on your own product photo.
