What FASHN is
FASHN is an AI fashion studio from FASHN LTD in London, on the web and on iPhone, with one credit balance across both. Its tools include:
- Product to Model and Try-On: put a garment on an AI model or on a photo of a person.
- Model Swap, Edit and Reframe: change the model, the details or the framing of a photo you already have.
- AI fashion models and Face Reference: create models and keep the same face across images. Your own faces need the Agency plan.
- Packshot, background removal and upscaling: product-only images and clean-up.
- Short videos: from 480p to 1080p.
FASHN also sells an API, billed separately from the app.

- Credit costs: Product to Model, Try-On, Model Swap and the other image tools take 1 credit at 1K, 1 or 2 at 2K and 1 to 3 at 4K, depending on the generation mode. Face Reference adds 2 credits. A 5-second video takes 1 to 6 credits.
- Rollover: unused monthly credits roll over while you are subscribed, up to three times your monthly allowance (600 on Basic). Daily credits reset every 24 hours.
- Top-ups: $0.10 a credit, in blocks of 100, valid for 12 months.
- Free start: every new account gets 10 credits. Subscriptions and top-ups are not refunded.
- iPhone: subscriptions bought in the iPhone app are monthly only.

FASHN API pricing
The API has its own credits. On demand a credit costs $0.075, with a minimum of $7.50. Monthly tiers at $19, $249 and $1,249 include 282, 4,150 and 25,594 credits and lower the top-up price. A Virtual Try-On call takes 1 credit, the other image endpoints 1 to 5 depending on resolution and mode, and failed requests are not charged.

FASHN's daily credits on Pro and Agency come on top of these and lower the cost further if you use them. Per image, FASHN costs less than Photta.

FASHN's ratings
FASHN's iPhone app, "FASHN - AI Fashion Studio", has 3.9 out of 5 from 7 ratings on the US App Store (checked 30 September 2026). Seven ratings are too few to say much.
Who each one suits
FASHN suits you if the cost per image matters most, you want try-on on photos of real people, model swaps and video in one place, or you want credits that roll over.
Photta suits you if you sell jewelry or eyewear as well as clothing, you need ghost mannequin photos, you want your own model from Model Maker or a photo, or you need the app in your language and the API on the same credits.
Try both on the same garment
FASHN gives new accounts 10 credits. New accounts get 20 free credits, enough for 4 photos at 2K. Buying credits once or starting a paid subscription removes the Photta watermark. Buy one-time credits without a subscription, or choose a monthly or annual plan for recurring credits and lower top-up rates.
