What Botika is

Botika is an AI fashion photography service from Botika E.Y LTD, with a web app and an iPhone app. You upload a photo of a garment and get it back on an AI model. Its site lists four products:

  • On Model: swap the model and the background in a photo you already shot on a person. The pose and the size stay the same.
  • Flat Lay: turn a flat lay into an on-model photo. You pick the model, the pose and the background.
  • Mannequin: turn a mannequin photo into an on-model photo, in the same three choices.
  • Video: turn your images into short motion clips.

Botika's FAQ says a photo takes about 15 minutes to process and that it fixes problems at no extra cost.

  • Credits: 1 credit per photo, 5 per video.
  • Rollover: unused credits roll over without limit while you stay subscribed. If you cancel, the rolled-over credits expire at once and the current cycle's credits last until the end of the billing period.
  • Retouching: yearly plans include retouch rounds, in which Botika's team fixes what you point out: 2 rounds per photo with 2-day delivery on Pro, 3 rounds with 1-day delivery on Advanced. Monthly plans do not include them.
  • More credits: the FAQ says a plan can start from 20 credits a month and be raised mid-month up to 450, and that one-off packs of up to 150 credits can be bought on the billing page. The pricing page does not list their prices.
  • Trial: you can start for free. The pricing page does not say how many credits the trial includes.

What one photo costs

Botika charges 1 credit per photo. Photta charges 5 credits for a studio photo of a garment on a model at 2K, and 6 at 4K. Dividing each plan's price by the photos it buys:

PlanPricePhotosCost per photo
Botika Pro, monthly$55 a month50$1.10
Botika Advanced, monthly$120 a month100$1.20
Botika Pro, yearly$552 a year600$0.92
Botika Advanced, yearly$1,200 a year1,200$1.00
Photta Hobby, monthly$14 a month30$0.47
Photta Seller, monthly$29 a month100$0.29
Photta Brand, monthly$79 a month300$0.26
Photta Studio, monthly$249 a month1,000$0.25

A Photta yearly plan costs ten times the monthly price for twelve months of credits, which brings a photo down to $0.21 on Studio and $0.24 on Seller.

The price per photo leaves out two things:

  • What happens to unused credits. Botika's roll over for as long as you subscribe. Photta's monthly credits reset at the end of each billing month; on a yearly plan, each month's credits stay usable for two months.
  • Who fixes a bad result. Botika's yearly plans include retouch rounds by its team. Photta has no human retouching. Each plan includes free do-overs every month (5 on Hobby, 10 on Seller, 25 on Brand, 60 on Studio), and after that a do-over costs 3 credits.

Botika's ratings

Botika's iPhone app, "Botika - AI Models for Fashion", has 3.9 out of 5 from 85 ratings on the US App Store (checked 29 September 2026). We found no rating for the web app from a source we could check, so the tables on this page show no star ratings.

Botika and Shopify

Botika's pricing FAQ still explains how plan upgrades are billed in its Shopify app, but its Shopify App Store listing, Botika Connector, said the app was not available when we checked on 29 September 2026. If you plan to work through Shopify, ask Botika how it works today.

Who each one suits

Botika suits you if you already have on-model, mannequin or flat lay photos and want them on different models, you want people to retouch your results as part of a yearly plan, or you buy once a year and want credits that never lapse while you subscribe. Enterprise teams can have models and backgrounds made for their brand.

Photta suits you if you want a lower cost per photo, you sell jewelry, eyewear or other products alongside clothing, you want your own model or new poses from photos you already have, or you need an API or an app in your own language.

Try both on the same garment

The fairest test is the same product photo in both. New accounts get 20 free credits, enough for 4 photos at 2K. Buying credits once or starting a paid subscription removes the Photta watermark. Buy one-time credits without a subscription, or choose a monthly or annual plan for recurring credits and lower top-up rates.

  • No API documentation or API pricing on botika.com

Which Should You Choose?

If you want people to fix your results, and a yearly plan at about $1 a photo suits your budget, Botika is built for that. If the cost per photo matters more, Photta's Seller plan makes a studio photo for $0.29, and the same credits cover jewelry, eyewear, ghost mannequin, pose changes and the API. Prices change, so check both pricing pages before you decide; this page was last checked on 29 September 2026.
